Helen Louise (Sims) Carruth

Helen Louise Carruth, 89, of Watkinsville, died Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Oren and Mary Lee Ashley Sims. Mrs. Carruth was a member of Antioch Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Nathan Carruth; and three sisters, Ada Holliday, Macie Thrasher, and Fannie Mae Bazzell.
Survivors include one brother, Marvin Sims; four nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Christian Church with Rev. Scott Bartholomew officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
