Bishop - Hazel D. Gunter, 79, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008.
A native of Barberton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Cora Jane Parham Dellinger and the wife of the late George Alvin Gunter. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Dellinger.
Funeral service were Saturday, May 10, 2008, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST with Rev. Bill Tribble, Tony Long, and Doug Ivey officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include children and spouses, Rosa (Freeman) Hall, Carolyn (Billy) Baxter, Ronnie Gunter, all of Bishop, Larry (Pam) Gunter of Watkinsville; sister and spouse, Louise (Donald) Dial of Bogart; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
