Hazel Farr

Hazel Gilmer Farr, 75, died November 23, 2015.

A native of Hall County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Vallie Seabolt Gilmer and was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Gilmer. Mrs. Farr worked for many years at the University of Georgia and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Carlton H. Farr; son, Jeffrey C. Farr of Athens; sister, Maryland Whitehead of Monroe.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
