Athens, GA - Hassie Mae Gooch Hudson, 85, died January 29, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary Gearing Gooch, widow of Curtis Hudson and preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Sorrow Hawkins.
Survivors include her children, Margaret (Jerry) Bradberry, Doc (Helen) Hudson, Shirley (Fred) Croy, Elmo (Pat) Hudson, Mike (Sandra) Hudson, Linda Hewell, Junior (Patricia) Hudson, Rita (Eddie) Witcher, Billy Hudson and Patricia (Thomas) Roberts; 33 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Greater Athens Church of God with Brother Randy Gordon officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Odell Witcher, Christopher Hudson, Paul Hudson, Jamey Hudson, Rickey Sorrow, Ed Porterfield, Scott Hudson and Brian Bradberry.
Lord and Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
