Harry Brant Spratlin Sr

Harry Brant "Buddy" Spratlin Sr., age 74, of Athens-Clarke County was born on February 17, 1939 and died on November 25, 2013. He is the son of Ruby Grace and Elmer Reeves Spratlin of Athens-Clarke County.
He is survived by three children; sons Harry Brant Spratlin, Jr. of Winterville, and Milton Anthony "Tony" Spratlin, of Colbert, and a daughter, Debby Spratlin Stephens of Orlando, Florida. Buddy was also survived by a brother, John Elmer Spratlin of Augusta, sister Sara Ida Spratlin Bailey of Athens, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He served in the United States Navy from 1956 until 1960 and then served in the United States Naval Reserve. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
His life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30, 2013 with family accepting visits from 11AM to 12AM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park at 1PM on Saturday, November 30.
