Hull, GA - Harry Granger Fancher at 7:32AM on September 21, 2016, our beloved husband and father, Harry Fancher, passed away peacefully in the presence of family at his home in Hull, GA, after losing a 9�month battle with cancer. Harry was 78 years old. Harry Fancher was born in Norwalk, CT, on December 22, 1937. He was the first of 5 children born to Harry and Ruth (Porter) Fancher. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Sandra Smith Fancher. He is also survived by his 4 children and their spouses: Bonnie Kepler and her husband, CameronI� Laura Carlan and her husband, JoeI� David Fancher and his wife, JennyI� Tim Fancher and his wife, BeckyI� and his 4 grandchildren: Sydney, Noelle, Samuel, and James. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua David Fancher. He is survived by his siblings: Bill (Glenda) Fancher of Lilburn, GAI� Dan Fancher of Helena, MTI� Marilyn Wray of Mount Kisco, NYI� and Paul (Faye) Fancher of Unionville, TN. Harry was born in Norwalk, CT, and grew up in Bedford, NY. Harry joined ROTC in high school and served in the Army Reserves for 10 years. Harry married Sandra Smith Fancher in 1959. He loved his family and spent his life providing for them. He also loved God and instilled that faith in his family by example. One of his hobbies was his love of cars, and he enjoyed many a day tinkering on them. Professionally, he worked in the computer field, first at Teleregister, then Bunker Ramo, and finally, DataPoint. His work took him and his family from Connecticut to Hallandale, FL, in 1965I� to Conyers, GA, in 1970I� and to Hull, GA, in 1978. Shortly thereafter, Harry began working in the banking industry. He was a strong Christian and a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Special thanks to Athena Hospice, LLC.
