Danielsville - Harry Paul Compton, 56, died Thursday, August 26, 2010.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Howell N. and Margie Brady Compton and brother to the late Mike Compton. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church and was self employed in the construction industry.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Daniel Compton, brother, Christopher Compton of Woodstock, aunt, Gail Chafin of Danielsville and Kathleen Brooks of Danielsville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 3PM at Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church with Rev. Chuck Tatum officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Gordon, Eddie Savage, Chuck Anthony, Thomas Daniell, Dana Roach and Melvin Worley.
The family will receive friend Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 6 to 8 at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel.
