Watkinsville - Harold Tice, 81, died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 3PM at Watkinsville First Baptist Church with Rev. Carlos Sibley officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., he was the son of the late George William and Georgia Wiggins Tice. Harold served his country in the US Navy during WWII, was a graduate of the University of Georgia and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as senior pastor at Greensboro First Baptist Church for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Pat Tice, children and their spouses: David and Jennifer Tice, Patrick and Jerrie Tice, Sandy and Becky Tice Callaway, Sally Tice Robbins; grandchildren: Anne Claire Bate, Elizabeth Tice Ensy, John Tice, Joseph Tice, Scott Callaway, Patricia Brezina, Frances Callaway, Clayton Blount, Shannon Robbins; great grandchildren, Josef Bate, Neveah Ensy and Gregory Brezina.
Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, c/o Watkinsville First Baptist Church, P. O. 228, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
