Harold Wallace "Buddy" Meyer

Harald Wallace "Buddy" Meyer, 60, of Crawford, died Monday, May 22, 2017. Born in Athens to the late H. Wallace Meyer Sr. and Dolly Stapp Meyer, Buddy worked for several years at Bells food store and later retired from the University of Georgia Extension Service. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman and loved being in nature. He loved being out fishing, hunting, or gardening.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Meyer, sisters, Anne (Greg) Threlkeld and Janice (Phil) Bridges, sister-in-law, Susan (John) Wells Moore, brother-in-law, Carey Wells, special family members, April (Conrad) Moore Skelton, Angela Moore, Jim (Cay) Meyer, and Austin Meyer, along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved dog, Oscar Meyer.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25th from 2-3 P.M. with a service immediately following at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will be at Arnoldsville City Cemetery.
