He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II and was retired from Athens Auto Wrecking.
Survivors include children, Becky Brake, Randy Jones and Harold Jones, Jr; brother, A.L. Jones; sister, Sarah Greer; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
