Harold Bell

Bishop, GA - Harold J. Bell, 80, died January 4, 2011. A lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was the son of the late A. Pierce and Della Holbert Bell. He was retired from Athens First Bank and Trust and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Following retirement, he was an accomplished woodworker, refinishing and caning furniture.
Graveside services will be Saturday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Ross Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Bell (Beth) of Bostwick and Libby Bell Peel (Robert) of Evans; sister, Nadine Patat of Snellville; grandchildren, Robert Davis Peel, III, Brian Judson Peel, Clifford Allen Peel and Dana Marie Bell; 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
