Harold F. Adams

Harold "Hal" F. Adams, 84, died October 25, 2018.
Born March 26, 1934 in Gainesville, GA, Mr. Adams was a son of the late Frank Bright Adams and Fannie Poore Adams. He was the widower of Matilda "Tillie" Adams and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Francis, Doris, Edith, Annell and Norma.
Mr. Adams grew up in Augusta and attended Richmond Academy Military High School. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1954 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He was a ROTC Cadet in High School and College before joining the United States Army. He served a two year assignment in Fort Bragg, assisting with the development of training in psychological warfare, before receiving an honorable discharge.
Mr. Adams' true loves were God, his wife, family, dog, and biscuits and gravy.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include a son, Dean Adams; daughters and son-in-law, Tina and Kelvin Lee, and Julie Duke; grandchildren, Cory, Kristin, Ian, Austin, Taylor and Casey; great grandchild, Olivia Lynn; sister-in-law, Annie Jane Savage.
Memorials may be made to Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
