Born in Norfolk, VA, he is a son of David H. and Concepcion Franco Younkin.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, David C. Younkin and Jose D. Younkin (Feliz) and sister, Inmaculada Perez (Orlando); nephew, Jose F. Younkin and extended family in Spain and Tennessee.
A funeral mass will be Monday, May 2, 2011 at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM followed by a rosary service beginning at 6:00 PM.
