Gregory Harold Rudowske

Gregory Harold Rudowske, 68 of Watkinsville, Georgia went home to be with his Lord October 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Edward and Viola (Hansen) Rudowske. Greg was born in Great Falls, Montana into an Air Force family. They lived in England, New Mexico, Georgia, and Florida before settling in Watkinsville. He attended Oconee County High School where he made some of his best memories. He was proud to be a charter member of the band and marching band. He graduated from Athens Vo-Tech and worked for Oconee County schools in groundskeeping until health problems developed.  Then he worked at Golden Pantry in Watkinsville.

Greg never married. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Albrecht (Everette); his brothers, Carl Rudowske, John Rudowske (Sheila), Mark Rudowske (Cathy), and Keith Rudowske (Sherry); and his nieces and nephews.

Greg loved Watkinsville and walked daily through town becoming a known fixture greeting and chatting with anyone he ran into. He was an avid fisherman. In recent years he turned to God.  He took comfort in knowing Jesus. He read his Bible daily, and watched Billy Graham every night on TV. He lived a simple life trusting God.

A memorial service will be held at the former home of his family, 11 White Lane Watkinsville, GA at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
