Gregorie Allen Cowart

Gregorie Allen Cowart, 64, of Hull, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Born in Athens, he was the son of Myrtie Powell Cowart and the late Luther “Billy” Cowart. Mr. Cowart was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, camping and horseback riding. He also loved NASCAR and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his lifelong companion, Karen “Rock” Bone; two children, Russell William Cowart and Mathew Allen Cowart; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane Willingham (Dennis) and Denise Epps (Bruce); two grandchildren, Brantly Cowart and Colton Cowart and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Epps, Tyler Ramsey, Christopher Kettle and Michael Ogle and honorary pallbearers, Gerry Cowart and Bruce Epps. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
