Danielsville - Mr. Graham Lee Nash died Saturday, May 22, 2010. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 4 PM at Danielsville Memorial Gardens , Danielsville , Georgia . Senior Pastor Robert Brown will officiate.
Mr. Nash was born on July 4, 1928, in Athens , Georgia , to Euquid and Mabel Nash. A lifelong resident of Madison County , Mr. Nash graduated from Danielsville High School and served in the U.S. Army as an air traffic controller until retirement. He was a decorated veteran from Viet Nam .
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jennie Mae Nash. Mr. Nash is survived by 2 sisters and a brother and their spouses, Maurine Hix, Zethel and Jim Cumuze, and Gary and Sybil Nash, all of Danielsville; 2 sons and their spouses, Derrold and Sheryl Nash, Danielsville and Wesley and Cathy Nash, Danielsville; his daughter and her spouse, Kevin and Melanie Holdredge, Nowata, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made in his memory to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte , NC 28201-0001 . billygraham.org
