Watkinsville - Grady James Strickland, 64, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late James Hamilton and Peggy Young Strickland. He was a Sergeant in the US Army during Vietnam.
Survivors include his sons; Jimmy Strickland and Johnny Strickland both of Watkinsville, sisters; Peggy Twiggs and Betty Joe McKew, brothers; Sam Strickland and Joe Strickland, and six grandchildren; Jimmy, Johnny, Kelly, Heather, Brooke and Nicholes.
Friends and family will be gathering at the residence of this son, Jimmy at 3430 Mars Hill Road, Saturday, April 1, 2006.
Flowers will be accepted.
