Grace Louise Tiner, 89, passed away June 14, 2013.
Born in Guilford County, NC on March 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charlie M. and Pearl Fowler Lance. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. L. Tiner and son, Bill Tiner.
Survivors include her children, Judy Duke of Gainesville, Charlie (Mary) Tiner of Jonesboro and Sue (Jerry) Scogin of Carlton; numerous grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 1:00-2:00pm at Lord and Stephens, EAST. Following the visitation, graveside services will be held at Athens Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
