Grace Chandler

Grace Maxey Chandler, 81, died March 19, 2015.
Born in Athens, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Thelma Maxwell Maxey and widow of Charles Chandler. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Sam Maxey, sister, Rhonda LaCount and great grandson, Jaxson Morris. Grace was retired from Ryans and a member of East Athens Baptist Church.
Grace was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Pam (Chuck) Cheek and Kim (Mike) Kelley; siblings, Carolyn Haley, Johnnie Maxey, Linda Peck, Brenda Merola and Ronnie Maxey; grandchildren, Jeff Cheek, Matt Cheek (Diana Rivera) Heather Kelley Morris (James) and Brooke Kelley; great grandchildren, Olivia Cheek, Parker Cheek and Ally Morris; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Revs. Ray Wuerzer and Dan May officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
