Gordon Lee Christopherson

Gordon Lee Christopherson, 67, of Blue Springs, Miss., died May 27, 2011. A native of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and former longtime resident of Athens, he was the son of the late Leslie and Florence Christopherson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dean Christopherson. Survivors include wife Betty Christopherson; sons Mark (Lisa) Christopherson, of Athens, and Randy (Heather) Christopherson, of Athens; daughters, Susan Reed, of Racine, Wis., Holly (Dave) Walker, of Nicholson, and Wendy (Bill) Kohel, of Athens; stepson, Brad (Jen) Lewellen; stepdaughter, Kathy (Harold) Ferguson; brothers, Larry (Sheri) Christopherson, Dale (Debbie) Christopherson; sisters Susie Eidsor and Jeanie (Mike) Schmidt; grandchildren, John May, Daniel May, Amanda Reed, Aaron Christopherson, Megan Reed, Josh Rindahl, Austin Christopherson, Jordan Lewellen, Lucas Lewellen, Samantha Kohel; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Lord & Stephens (West) Funeral Home at 1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd., Bogart, GA 30622. The Family will receive friends at RAI 2005 Commerce Road, Athens GA 30607 immediately following services.
