Gloria F. Worsham

Gloria A. Worsham, 86, died January 17, 2020.

Born in Anniston, AL, she was a daughter of the late J. A. and Minnie Lee Gatlin Fortner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, George Carlton Worsham, sister, Kathryn Huff and brother, Steve Fortner.  Mrs. Worsham was a charter member of Briarwood Baptist Church. She was an entrepreneur and established Perfect Touch flower shop in 1985, touching many lives through the years.

The family will receive friends at Briarwood Baptist Church, 1900 Robinhood Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677, Sunday, January 19, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Don Reed officiating. Interment will be at Oconee Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Fitzgerald, Tim Regan, Evan Verma, Millan Verma, Stephen Worsham and Bill Freeman.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of Gloria's Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Worsham Azar (Charles-deceased), Jill Worsham Fitzgerald (Jeff), Pam Worsham Verma (Randy) and Charlie Worsham (Leah); sister, Sandra (Sam) Morrison and brother, James (Joann) Fortner, both of Griffin, GA; grandchildren; T. J. Fitzgerald (Jaycie), Lauren Worsham Freeman (Bill), Alexandra Regan (Lee Stroud), Timothy Regan, Evan Verma, Jordan Fitzgerald, Millan Verma, Stephen Worsham and Maya Verma; great grandchildren, Will Freeman, Hutch Freeman, Rowan Stroud and Alder Stroud.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lottie Moon Foreign Missions.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, Watkinsville, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
