Bowman - Gloria Hilda Savage, 72, died July 6, 2009.
A native of Clarke County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Emmett Harrison Bradberry and Susie Rosetta Huff Bradberry Beale. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis Bradberry, Talmadge Bradberry and Anthony Bradberry and one sister, Betty Jean Bradberry. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Watkinsville.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 3PM at Oconee Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ross Layne officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Savage; three daughters, Joyce (Randy Johnson) Dickens of Lexington, Carole (Richard) Wheeler of Lavonia, and Linda (David) Mathews of Elberton; brother, Bobby (Mary) Bradberry of Lincolnton; sister, Vivian (David) Drake of Watkinsville; sister-in-law, Vivian Bradberry of Athens; five grandchildren, Joseph Dickens, Christopher and Kelly Dickens, Thomas Mathews, Eric Mathews and Noah Wheeler.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home or at the residence of her daughter at 233 Acorn Trail, Lexington, GA.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
