Gloria Jean Pulliam

Gloria Jean Pulliam, 80, died December 12, 2024. 

A native of Lakewood, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Harriet Ann Cottrell and Frank Snyder, Jr. 

Gloria was a graduate of Elizabeth General Hospital and Dispensary School of Nursing and a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army, honorably discharged as a Lieutenant. She worked for over twenty-seven years at St. Mary’s Hospital, many of which were in the Emergency Room and as Nursing Supervisor. She also worked ten years at Athens Regional Medical Center and continued her career as a hospice nurse until retirement. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betsy Cottrell and a brother, Gary Cottrell. 

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST.  

Survivors include six children, Scott Pulliam of Washington, GA, Todd Pulliam of Winterville, GA, Beth Ramspeck of Cumming, GA, Mark Pulliam of Colbert, GA, Paul Pulliam of St. Simons, GA, Jamie Pulliam of Suwanee, GA; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
