Glenn Raymond Duggar, 83, passed away peacefully at home March 2, 2025.
A native of Savannah, GA, Glenn was a 1959 graduate of Robert W. Groves High School. He was an Oconee County resident and was a longtime member of St. James Church, Athens GA.
After graduation from Groves, he proudly served his country by joining the Air National Guard where he served for six years.
He retired from NCR Corporation after twenty-nine years as a Field engineer then joined Oconee County Board of Commissioners where he served as the Roads and Bridges Inspector for eleven years.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Shuman and Woodrow Wilson Duggar and his brother, James Richard Duggar.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Emily Roberts Duggar; two children, Susan D. (Jerry) Whidden of Gainesville, GA and Ashli Duggar of Marietta, GA; granddaughter, Morgan Whidden; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:30 PM at St. James Church, Athens GA with a reception to follow. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Hillcrest Abby West, 1336 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA.
