Glenda Langford Mitchell Forrester, age 64, of Doraville, formerly of Bogart, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. Forrester was born on July 29, 1942 in Bogart, Ga. to the late Charles Virgil and Leila Carolyn Wade Langford. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Forrester, and a brother, Virgil Langford, Jr. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She had worked as a bookkeeper for an accounting firm.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa (Douglas) Burlingame and two grandchildren, Brandon and Cameron Burlingame, all of Richardson, Texas. A sister, Carolyn Langford (James) Bradford of Deland, Florida. A sister-in-law, Hilda K. Langford of Bogart. Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11:00 am at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Thurman Wade and Rev. Spencer Bradford officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2006 from 6 till 8 pm at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted, or the family has requested memorials be made to Vista Care Hospice, St. Mary's Hospice, or National Association of Mental Health (nami.com).
