Gilbert Lewis Ramirez

Gilbert Lewis Ramirez, 77, husband of Jewell G. Ramirez, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born in Chino, CA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Eriselda Torres Ramirez. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Renaldo Ramirez and Larry Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez retired from Athens Regional Medical Center where he worked in Telecommunications and as an electrician. He served in the US Air Force and was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to his wife, survivors include his brother, Richard (Dickie) Ramirez and sister, Eloise Fernandez. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11AM at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Huycke will officiate. Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
