Gertrude Dailey

Winterville - Gertrude Dailey, 72, wife of the late James Dailey, died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the residence of her son. Born in Oglethorpe County she was the daughter of the late B.A. (Barry Ardeen) and Orabelle Ogle Fleeman. Mrs. Dailey was also preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Schmitt and brothers; Jr. Brooks and James Carl Fleeman. She was a member of Winterville Baptist Church. She retired from Five Points Grocery.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelia (Don) Zazinski of Myrtle Beech, SC, son, Fred (Carrie) Butler of Bogart, brother, J. W. (Frances) Fleeman of Winterville, half sisters; Martha (Tommy who is deceased) Parham of Hudson, FL, Mary (Guy) Dover of Colbert, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2005 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Grove Chapel Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Fleeman, Guy Powell, Darvin Branch, Hugh Ogle, Doyle Bates and Johnny Hoyle
Flowers will be accepted.
