Gerald Alan Koenigshof

Gerald Alan Koenigshof, 92, of Watkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Born in Buchanan, Michigan, he was a son of the late George Edward Koenigshof and Sylvia Wolkins Koenigshof. Gerald graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS degree in Forestry and Engineering. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he was 1st Lieutenant and served in the Korean War from 1953 until 1955. Gerald was a lifelong learner and he loved the outdoors, hiking and exploring nature. He had a passion for health and wellness and enjoyed using that knowledge to help others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Ann Koenigshof.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Betty J. Koenigshof; daughter, Julie Milligan (David) of Thousand Oaks, California; daughter, Jean Irvin (Michael) of Simi Valley, California and grandchildren, Devin and Kayla Milligan,  Zoe and Danielle Irvin, Victor Corado (Crysti) and Bella Corado and great-grandchildren, Dana and Tessa Corado.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:30 am at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow privately at Evergreen Memorial Park.
