Athens - Georgianna Tervia Foster, 91, passed away November 22, 2010.
A native of Middlebranch, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel Gans Martin and was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Mrs. Foster married Harold Konen in 1944 in Ohio and survived his death in Ormond Beach, Fla., in 1991. She married Robert Northridge in 1992 in DeLand, Fla., and survived his death in 1996. In 1999, she married James Foster in DeLand, Fla.
Mrs. Foster retired as a supervisor from Southern Bell, West Palm Beach, in 1978. She then worked part-time for the American Greeting Card Company for a few years in the late 1980's. She was a Life Member of the Telephone Pioneers of American, and Secretary of the Crozier Circle of the United Methodist Women in 1984. Mrs. Foster was a member of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, in both the Indiantown, Fla. and Riviera Beach, Fla. branches. She was a participant of the Ladies of Elks Lodge #2558 in Okeechobee, Fla. in the 1980's and The Garden Club of DeLand, Fla. in the late 1990's.
Survivors include her husband of eleven years, James Marvin Foster; son, Martin Konen, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; granddaughter, Ginger Squires, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; niece, Norma West, of Roopville; two great-grandchildren and two grand-nieces.
No services are scheduled. Georgianna will be placed with her first husband, Harold, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ormond Beach, Fla.
