Lexington, GA - George "Tommy" Kitchens age 78 died Thursday Feb. 02, 2012. A native of Hall Co. Mr. Kitchens was the son of the late Roy Lee Kitchens Sr. and Florence Laznby Kitchens. Mr. Kitchens was a retired security guard and was a Vietnam Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty Jo Milligan Kitchens; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Richard Sloan; sisters, Bobbie Burgess, Dot Pickering, Kathleen Venable, Pat Landers, Sandra Mathews, and Debra Williams; brother: Roy Lee Kitchens Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon Sloan; great grandchildren, Sage Sloan, Olivia Mason, and Areyanna Sloan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00AM until 12:00PM. Entombment will be private.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East has charge of arrangements.
