George Everett Millican III

George Everett (Chip) Millican, III, 47, died Monday, October 4, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Atlanta and raised in East Cobb, Chip was a 1986 graduate of the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Chip will be remembered for his loving and generous heart, his big smile, and how he was a friend to all he met.
Chip is survived by his wife, Tina; son, Konrad Schmidt: mother and father, Patricia and Everett Millican of St. Simons Island; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Mark Papanicolaou, and nieces, Alex and Paige Papanicolaou of Bogart.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Pastor Tim Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta at 2:30PM.

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 6, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
