George Edward "Eddie" Anderson

George "Eddie" Edward Anderson, age 70, of Athens, GA, passed away April 2, 2015. Raised in North Arlington, NJ, George attended Our Lady Queen of Peace Schools and graduated North Arlington High School. George served in the US Navy. Formally a 25 year resident of Columbia, SC, he lived in Athens for the last ten years and was employed by the Eastside Walmart.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Catherine Anderson of North Arlington, NJ and a brother, Robert Anderson of Harrison, NJ.
Survivors include brother Fred (Kathy) Anderson of Brick, NJ; nephews Kevin (Judi) Anderson of Richmond, VA, Glenn (Kathy) Anderson of Richmond, VA, and Scott Anderson of San Juan, Puerto Rico; nieces Cheryl (Gene) LaValley of Winterville, GA., Lori (David) Husak of Brick, NJ, and Karen (Michael) Quinn of Londonderry, VT; sixteen great-nieces and nephews; and thirteen great-great-nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held for George Anderson on Monday April 13, 2015 6:00pm at Lord & Stephens, East Chapel with the family receiving friends at 5:30pm until service time, Rev. Gene LaValley officiating.
