Lexington - Gene Sisk, 77, died January 26, 2008. A native of Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late Tom Watson and Coequilla Clark Sisk. He was a retired truck driver and farmer and a member of Pentecost Chapel Congregational Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pentecost Chapel with Revs. Pierce Ashmore, Frank Walker, Butch Roberts and Tye Sorrow officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Sisk; son, Greg (Donna) Sisk of Danielsville; sisters, Ruth Leadley of Lexington and Sybil McCannon of Carlton; grandson, Brian Sisk; step grandchildren, Justin Smith and Brandon Smith and step great grandchild, Jaiden Parsons; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
