Winterville - Gene Huff, 72, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at his residence.
A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late James William Huff and Mary Roberts. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his son, Terry Huff of Griffin; sister, Jeanette Butler of Hickory, N.C.; brother, Albert Huff of Eatonton, Ga.; and caretaker, Nancy Morrison of Winterville.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Tac Coley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
