Athens - Gaynell Moon Boxx, 77, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at University Long Term Care Facility in Athens.
Born February 3, 1930 in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, to the late George Henry and Mary McKeller Moon and was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Smith. Mrs. Boxx began working at Belks Department Store, Athens, in 1977 and retired in 1993. She was a member of Heritage Fellowship Church, Bogart.
A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Heritage Fellowship Church, 205 Fowler Mill Road, Bogart, with the Revs. Tony Moon and Tim Vaughn officiating.
She is survived by son, Frank A. Boxx, Jr. and spouse, Emily, of Ninety-Six, S.C.; grandson, Gray Boxx. of Ninety Six, S.C.; nephew, Roger Smith and wife, Rhonda. of Greenwood, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Fellowship Church, Bogart.
