Winder - Gayle Hunter, 61, died October 7, 2009.
A native and lifelong resident of this area, she was a daughter of the late Hoyt and Lois McCurley Autry and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hunter; and brother, Dwayne Autry.
Mrs. Hunter was a member of Connecting Point Church, a former member of the Bogart City Council and former president of Bogart Little League and Warrior Club of Oconee High School.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Tim Hunter officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Tim and Tamara Hunter of Winder; sister, Eugenia Dellinger of Bogart; grandchildren, Delaney, Mallory and Clay Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connecting Point, P.O. Box 161, Bogart, GA 30622.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
