Gary H. "Pete" Sisk, 72, died August 4, 2006.
A native of Oglethorpe County, he was a son of the late Tom and Coequilla Clark Sisk. He retired from ConAgra of Athens after thirty-three years and continued working after retirement as a poultry farmer. Mr. Sisk was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling. He was a member of Moon's Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 7, 2006, at 3:00 PM at Moon's Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Tony Lee officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Anne. G. Sisk; five children, Pam Arthur and husband, Tim of Danielsville, John Sisk of Gainesville, GA, Claire Massey of Danielsville, Susan Watkins and husband, Mike of Lexington, and Gary Sisk of Crawford; two sisters, Sybil McCannon of Carlton and Ruth Leadley of Lexington; brother, Gene Sisk of Lexington; five grandchildren, Justin Arthur, Katie Sisk, Brandon Watkins and wife, Tammy, Brent Watkins, and Eric Sisk; great granddaughter, Kelsie Watkins; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
