Gary Tillman Adams

Gary Tillman Adams, 79, of Danielsville, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016.
Born in Carlton, he was the son of the late William Buford Adams and Susie Crow Adams. Mr. Adams enjoyed farming and was a well-known appliance repairman. He was a longtime member of Union Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Jordan Adams; his second wife, Sally Sharp Adams; step daughter, Amy Somers; and one sister, Blanche Dixon.
Survivors include his children, Pam (Ricky) Hanley, Gary (Rose) Adams, Susan (Michael) Perdue, Scott (Faith) Adams and Lisa Adams; step children, Pam Hemminger, Lisa Jackson; siblings, James Adams, Shirley Chandler, Hythen Coile and Sue Chandler; grandchildren, Heather Hanley, Hannah Hanley, Cory Hanley, Vance Walstra, Maggie Adams, Anna Adams, Sam Perdue, Luke Perdue, Ben (Thomasina) Adams, Katie Adams, Elizabeth Adams and Micah Adams; one great grandchild, Seraphina Adams and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Chandler, Mike Coile, Don Chandler, George Chandler, Greg Adams and Jamie Adams. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, 1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd, Danielsville, GA 30633, or to a charity of your choice.
