Lexington, GA - Garnett Ray Martin, 71, died October 23, 2014.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late James C. "Callie" and Ethel Bales Martin and was preceded in death by his son, Greg Martin. Ray was employed with Bells Food Store as a meat cutter for 50 years. He loved NASCAR and Atlanta Falcons.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Athens Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
