Gail Connally

Gail Lee Connally, age 65, of Darien, Georgia entered peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 9, 2021 with her family by her side. Gail was born in Athens, GA and was a 1973 graduate of Oconee County High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1994 from the University of Georgia. She was a former University of Georgia Bus Driver and also drove buses for many school districts.

Left to cherish Gail’s memories are her husband of almost 31 years, Mark Connally; her two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Phillips (Tim) and Emylee Connally (Kyle); one son, Jonathan Connally; four grandchildren, Mason, Ethan, Owen, and Evan Phillips; her mother, Nell Sizemore (Bill); and her brother, Tommy Lee. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Edward “Buck” Lee.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, followed by a graveside service at 3:30pm at Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Ken Jennings will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Darien. GA.
