Freddy Clarence Patat, 70, of Bogart, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Bogart, he was the son of the late Fred Clarence Patat Jr. and Frances Nunnally Patat. Mr. Patat was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War and he was a member of Bogart First Baptist Church. A wonderful husband of 50 years, he was adored by his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed travelling and photography, and shared both with his spoiled but beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Patat; three children, Joy Patat Miceli (Don) of Dayton, OH, Melissa Patat Tucker (Chris) of Tallahassee, FL and Clay Patat (Brianna Nally) of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Nancy Patat of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren, Emma Tucker, Mabel Patat, Alexander Tucker, Finn Tucker, Hannah Miceli, Craig Miceli, Kimberly VanNess and Holley Timmons and three great-grandchildren, Bella VanNess, Nicolas Miceli and Avagail Timmons.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bogart First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Trey Dean, Billy Andrews, John Hill, Scott Hodges, Ron Young and Don Hammond. The family will receive friends Friday, July 14, 2017 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
