Franklin Rudolph (rudy) Mann

Comer - Franklin Rudolph (Rudy) Mann, 82, died November 21, 2005.
A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late Amers and Clara Echols Mann, and the widower of Frances Hall Mann. He was owner and operator of Rudy Mannís Grocery for many years and was a member of Comer United Methodist Church. He was former Chairman of the Board of Stewards and former Sunday School Superintendent. Mr. Mann was a Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corp, was a prisoner of war in World War II, and a flight engineer of a B-24 Bomber.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at 11:00 AM at Comer United Methodist Church. Rev. Mike McLemore will officiate. Interment will be in Comer Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sueleata and Steve Sorrells of Comer; sister, Evelyn Tate of Athens; granddaughter, Franleata Sorrells; nephew, Eric Myers.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Mann, Frank Mann, W. C. Mann, Milton Tate, Emory Tate, Art Mann, Frank Mann, Jr., Bill Mann, Rob Mann, Christopher Mann, Dan Tate, and Jody Blackmon.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
