Frank Coile Stewart

Frank Coile Stewart, age 78, of Winterville, husband of Peggy Horne Stewart, died on Sunday, June 16, 2013.
A native of Oglethorpe, Mr. Stewart was the son of the late Grady and Corine Barnette Stewart. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and self-employed as a painter.
Survivors include his children, Thurmond Beard, of Newport, N.C., and Diane (Russell) Wilson, of Jefferson; grandchildren, Lance Wilson and Randy and Clay Compton; and great-grandchildren, Marley and Joslyn Compton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at Lord & Stephens East.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, at the Winterville cemetery.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.
