Frank Walter Fordham

Frank Walter Fordham, 75, of Athens passed away on September 5, 2024. Born on June 19, 1949, he was the son of the late James Kelley Fordham and Irmgard Schneider Fordham. 

Frank was a Georgia Tech graduate and was passionate about his work as a civil engineer at Reinforced Earth Company, where he was still employed after over 40 years of faithful service. He was a kind hearted man who always had a dad joke prepared to tell. He had many hobbies including shooting sporting clays, hunting for arrowheads and looking for antiques for his sister, Ingrid. He loved Bourbon and IPA' s, eating hamburgers, his little brown dog, Penny, and the close bond he had built with his work family. 

Survivors include his two sons, Spencer Fordham, Christopher Fordham ( LeeAnn); sister, Ingrid House (Glenn).

A private service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
