Winterville - Francis Eugene Loegel, 89, husband of 64 years and 11 months to Ruth Ilene Sawmiller Loegel, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Grandview Care Center.
Born in Auglaize, Ohio, he was the son of the late George and Marianne Schaffer Loegel. Mr. Loegel was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran Church, Cridersville, Ohio. He retired from Superior Coach Corporations.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Loegel is survived by his son and daughter in law, David and Sue Loegel, of Athens; sister, Margaret Elsass, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; grandchildren, Jonathan Loegel and Elizabeth Holland.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11:00AM in Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
