Francine S. (Smith) Wilson

Francine Smith Wilson, 86, wife of the late James Wilson, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Dayton and Marie Webb Smith. She had worked as a dietitian for University Nursing and Rehab. In 1955 her husband died before the birth of their youngest daughter and she raised five children. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son, James Ralph Wilson, daughter, Connie Butler and Joan Ann Wilson.
Survivors include her daughters: Linda (Broach) Howard of Lexington, Jean (Mitch Barber) Wilson of Athens; brother: Charles Smith; five grandchildren: five great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Andrew Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Grove Chapel Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
