Bogart, GA - Frances Johnson Norris, 85, passed away March 7, 2008.
A lifelong resident of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Pearl Murray and John Dial Johnson and the widow of Roy Frances Norris. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Johnson Crowe and brother, Jackson H. Johnson. Mrs. Norris retired from the Oconee County School System and was a longtime member of Bogart United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Albert Askew officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patricia N. and Ray A. Payne of Bogart, GA; sons and daughers-in-law, Michael R. and Kathy G. Norris of Bogart, GA and Gary F. and Pamela C. Norris of Acworth, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00 and Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Bogart United Methodist Church Sanctuary Fund.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
