Comer - Frances Rice Legg age 90, died Saturday March 12, 2011. Ms. Legg was the daughter of the late William Alphus and Lila Mize Rice. Ms. Legg
was a native of Athens Clarke Co. and was a member of the Comer Baptist Church. Ms. Legg is preceded in death by brother, John Alphus Rice; sisters, Sara Jo Forro, Betty Bagwell and Billie Ann McCorvey.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 15, 2011 at the Comer Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Rev. Rodney Owens will officiate. Burial will follow at the Comer Cemetery.
Survivors include children; Jimmy (Nedra) Legg, Mickey Legg, David (Bonnie) Legg, sisters; Patricia Shaw, Gwen Poole. Grandchildren; Stacy Anglin, Chris Anglin, Scott Legg, Travis Legg, Jeremy Legg and Noelle Jones.
Pallbearers; Matthew Jones, Stacy Anglin, Chris Anglin, Scott Legg, Travis Legg, Jeremy Legg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Comer Baptist Church Building Fund.
The family will receive friends at Brown Chapel, Danielsville, Monday from 7-9p.m.
