Frances Elise Dean

Frances Elise Dean, 92, wife of the late Lonnie Carlton Dean, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her residence in Watkinsville.

Born in Lexington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Waymon and Grace Kinney Roberts. She retired from General Times as an inspector after 40 years and was the oldest member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Dwight (Donice) Dean of Clarkesville, GA; sister in law: Josephine Roberts; grandchildren: Trey (Linda) Dean, Tamie (Allen) Peck, Lee (Caryn) Hammond and Link (Jami) Hammond; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11AM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
