Comer - Frances Evelyn Collins Chandler, 88, wife of the late Roy Lee Chandler, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Cobb Health Care Center, Comer, GA.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Ruth Edwards Collins. She was a member of Meadow Baptist Church where she was an active member of Sunday School. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Bobby Chandler, great grandson, James Austin Ferguson and brothers, Theron and Harold Collins.
Survivors include daughter and son in law, Carole C. and Tommy Simmons of Carlton, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren,
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2PM at Meadow Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sarna and Rev. Dayton Logan officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, December 15, 2010 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meadow Baptist Church.
